Agata Zubel’s lecture takes the form of an artistic journey through a selection of her works, presented through excerpts from larger compositions. Rather than focusing on a single aspect of her practice, the presentation offers insight into her compositional thinking by moving between different pieces, sound worlds, and expressive contexts.

Through these musical examples, the audience is invited to explore how sound, form, gesture, and colour function in her music, and how different artistic ideas take shape across contrasting works. The lecture also touches on collaboration, notation, and the practical aspects of shaping musical material, offering a view into the working process behind the pieces.
